Education Programs
To become a Certified Wellness Coach (CWC), you’ll need to complete an associates or bachelor’s degree and meet fieldwork requirements. Some California colleges and universities are partnering with HCAI to create “designated” programs that prepare students for certification right after graduation.
California Community College (CCC) Programs
California Community Colleges are a great place to start a behavioral health wellness career. They offer classes that count toward becoming a Certified Wellness Coach and often partner with universities to help you.
California University Programs
You can also begin your Certified Wellness Coach journey through approved university programs in California. These programs are built to help you grow your skills and succeed long-term in the behavioral health field. They also provide clear pathways towards advanced degrees.
